Meet Our Vet
Lynne Bodell BVSc MANZCVSc
Lynne (often referred to as the “old girl”) graduated from Sydney Uni in 1984. After a brief period as a locum around the Riverina and NE Victoria , settled in Wagga Wagga.
She opened her own clinic in 1986 in Wagga Wagga and here she has remained (with a couple of location changes along the way).
After further studies, Lynne was admitted as a Member of the Australian and NZ College of Veterinary Scientists in 1993 in Canine Medicine.
Lynne’s hobbies include rottweilers and horses. At her farm, Coorparoo Park, Lynne together with her husband Rob, have established an equine training and rehabilitation facility which specialises in the training and rehabilitation of racehorses.
Lynne is known for her practical and down to earth approach to life which she also extends to the veterinary practice.
Helen - Veterinary Nurse
Helen is our true to heart country girl. Hailing from Braidwood originally she loves all animals but she has a special place for her show cows.
Not only does she breed and exhibit Hereford cows, she also does some judging when time permits.
Helen is studying Agricultural Science at Uni in her “spare” time.
Dr Lou Beck - Veterinarian
Lou joins our practice with a wealth of experience. Lou has a down to earth approach which coupled with her compassion and understanding means that she relates extremely well to our clients and their animals.
Outside of veterinary life Lou is married to a local famer and is kept busy looking after her children and the menagerie on the farm.
Alannah Bloomer - Veterinary Nurse
Alannah is currently in her second year of studying veterinary nursing. Alannah hails from Bungador Victoria but has now made Wagga home.
Alannah’s hobbies can basically be summed up as “chooks, chooks and more chooks!” Between the chooks Alannah manages to spend time with her cat Maple (who acts more like a dog than a cat) and her horse Sarge.
